I was able to catch the game after watching pg-seaside scrimmage. Salinas really did do a decent job. Without the costly turnovers and mental mistakes like
penalties, it probably turns out to be a great game. Hug was a really athletic team with speed and strength all over the field. I kind of wish we could have
seen more out of Jenks but i'm sure he'll get more chances as the season goes on. Should be a GREAT game when salinas heads down to seaside.

Are you kidding me? Were we watching the same game? Hug totally dominated the game and competely shutdown Salinas High and their one dimensional offense. They
looked slower and completely overmatched against Hug High. And to be honest I cant understand it Salinas High has some good athletes and they play hard. But
their Offense was boring and doesnt really utilize thier strength. They were rolling the left handed QB to the right (even in pregame passing lines) which made
his slow delivery even slower and neutralizes his athletism. Come on coaches even pop warner coaches know this.
But Its football season! This will be a great year for football fans good luck to everyone and to all the players! |

First of all, I'm a diehard Cowboy. Always will be. I hate Palma. That being said:
1. Palma doesn't need to recruit. It has great coaches, hardworking athletes and tradition. KIDS WANT TO GO THERE! 2. Hug DOMINATED Salinas. Hug's 2nd and 3rds played Salinas even their First string made Salinas look bad. 3. Salinas is better than they looked last night. They practiced like Hug was horrible and got the shock of their lives game time. Thats bad preparation not a bad team. 4. Coaches are doing a decent job but stop focusing on the PILLARS and pretending they cleaned up the program. Focus on Seaside not what Watkins or Devine want to write about. Soratos, Goodbody, and Isbil are GOOD coaches. US COWBOY FANS need to support them. |

You Palma lovers, wait and see what kind job the coaches due this year. They have a good chance of being 3rd or 4th in league. They have there work cut out for
them this year. You folks wait and see, there talent level is down this tear.
